Michael White aka Mike Wird is an advanced permaculture designer/consultant/teacher, artist educator, natural builder, and trained real estate investor, promoting environmental stewardship and financial literacy. Mike shares his dedication to social and environmental justice thru cultural arts and regenerative practices. Mike is a certified Earthship Biotect.
Mike has been actively cultivating community for over a decade as an Emcee, Deejay & Hiphop Cultural Arts Ambassador, raising awareness about social, economic and ecological issues and their solutions. Mike teaches for a non-profit organization called Youth on Record, a youth empowerment through creative education program in the Denver Public high schools and youth centers.
Mike teaches Permaculture Design Certificate Courses~ (Eco-Social Design) in Boulder with Regenerative Adventures and Across the Divide, as well as a Permaculture Design Course with Family Tree Permaculture on the nature island of Dominica in the eastern Caribbean. He also facilitates the Permaculture Academy with Permaculture Action Network at Sonic Bloom Festival.
